Chinese School at Chapel Hill promotes Chinese language literacy and culture exchange for enriching cultural diversity in our community.

Founded in 1993, the school has grown from 10 to over 300 students. Entirely run by parent volunteers, teachers and staff strive to offer the best to all students, regardless of their cultural background. The school meets in a rented public middle school campus every Saturday afternoon from 2 to 6 pm throughout the school year. We offer nineteen Chinese language classes at different levels, including Chinese as a second language classes. Eleven academic enrichment classes in math, English, and computer programming classes have attracted many eager learners. Toddlers, children, teenagers, and adults have enjoyed the thirteen activity classes that range from singing, dancing, drawing, Chinese puzzle, Go, Chess, Adult Pilates, and Zumba.

Chinese School at Chapel Hill is more than a cultural enrichment and language school. We are a family. Together we go camping, picnicking, and celebrating Chinese festivals. We exchange information about education and about other aspects of life on the school social media platform. Join the family and grow with us!
